Nick Barford is a London-based groomer and educator specialising in men’s hair with over 18 years’ experience in the industry. He approaches hair with an editorial and innovative eye, while drawing inspiration from his Japanese heritage. He values precision and perfection, which is evident in the cleanliness of his work.

Men’s fashion isn’t only a career choice for Nick but also a passion. He began by assisting industry legends on Fashion week shows in Paris, Milan and London and has been a vital part of the team when working extensively with brands such as Vetements, VTMNTS, Fred Perry and Jordan Luca. Not only is he an awarding winning barber but Nick can also add colour to his list of skills. Being the great multi tasker he is also the Founder of Nūdo Studio a successful freelance studio for clients, workshops and one – one education in the heart of East London.

With the expertise and experience to work with all hair textures gives him a unique and rare understanding of his craft. One of Nicks notable accolades was being presented with Modern Barber’s “Best All Round Barber UK” Award in 2021.
